Alfa Romeo 147 at Forrestburn Speed Hill Climb MSCC Track Night
True to form, David Baxter send in this great collection of images from the sun drenched MSCC track night on Thursday 11 June 2015. As we said in the previous post, this was a great night due to the presence of a number of Alfa Romeos. There were some other cars there too.

Just a little reminder of two things. Firstly, remember that this Sunday is a work party. If you think that you can spare some time you know you will be welcome. If you could squeeze your wheelbarrow into the back of the car and bring it along it will be put to good use and much appreciated. So get the shorts and the factor 15 on and come up and join the fun!! anytime after 11.00am – only joking about the sun!

Secondly, as hill climb weekend approaches, it’s worth thinking about a few brave souls battered by the winds, pelted with rain, then baked to a crisp and all before lunch. That sounds like Forrestburn! If you are available to marshal on either Saturday 27 June or Sunday 28 June, contact Iain Paterson by email or text please. Just drop me a line and I will forward his contact details or get them from the recent Facebook post.

If you’ve never marshaled before, we will pair you with someone experienced. It is fairly simple, Red flag if a post number higher than yours radios in, no action if the number is less than yours. If you’re not competing, it is a good way of checking out the lines of the Competition, more than happy to swap posts about at lunchtime. The more marshals we can get, the smoother everything runs and the quicker we can get the cars up.

So do it now – ok?
