A very Happy New Year to everyone. We have published our Calendar of Events for 2015 which you can study with awe and respect. The results for 2014 are still available of course and you can see these in the right hand sidebar of the Events Page. There will probably be more events added, such as Track Nights at Knockhill and some minor alterations to dates as the season progresses but the main events such as Hill Climb dates are fixed.
It is exactly a month till the first event of the year which is the MSCC Annual General Meeting. Two months from today will be the first motor sport event of the year at Forrestburn – a Production Car Trial on 1 March. Terrible isn’t it?
In case you are wondering, the image at the top of the page is of a Jaguar E-Type specially prepared in the graphics intended for the Forrestburn International Circuit which in 1996 had full planning permission and EU grant funding. Some people in the Club still have an interest in developing Forrestburn through smaller additions over time such as an extension to the hill climb track to include a sprint track or kart circuit. If you are interested and think you can help in some way – financial, construction, legal, planning, grant aid etc – please get in touch.
