This was a difficult and long weekend for competitors and organisers alike and MSCC are grateful for the goodwill and patience shown by everyone during the chaotic technical difficulties with timing and results production on Saturday. One of the reasons for this is certainly that our ambition to provide a great service to competitors was running well ahead of the available technology which is currently rooted in the 20th century. We plan to replace serial cable connections carrying timing data to the results computers with wireless links for the August hill climbs and will test this in the intervening weeks.
