Sitting in the results suite at Forrestburn (aka freezing steel container) with no windows and limited connection with the outside world, it’s possible to imagine the sun always shining at Forrestburn events. Apparently, this is an Alternative Fact. On Saturday I was told that the weather was bad and certainly there were lots of red flags.
Today Bill Barr sent me a huge collection of images from Saturday which confirmed that the weather was poor. Here is the first part of that collection featuring some intrepid drivers who were prepared to defy the David Swinton instruction to keep off the grass – and got away with it.
