The MSCC Spring Break will take place from Friday 24 April till Sunday 26 April 2015. It will take place at Kirkby Stephen (Ravenstonedale) and The Yorkshire Dales.
Friday will see us set off down South with a view to arranging a lunch stop at about 1pm in Cumbria or Yorkshire. No arrangements have been confirmed yet but a number of picturesque venues have been approached and will be confirmed subject to final numbers. The weekend coincides with ‘Drive It’ Day, a great excuse to join in.
Dinner for both nights will be in our own private dining room. Further details on The Fat Lamb, Ravenstonedale can be found at www.fatlamb.co.uk. This is a friendly local inn with a welcoming landlord who happens to have an Austin Healey 3000, a Mk2 Jag and a penchant for hosting car club weekends. There’s room for 24 people to stay and we’re hoping we’ll fill the place. Extra rooms are available nearby if demand is high.

Saturday will include a Scenic Run in some fabulous lanes in the Yorkshire Dales followed by ‘An International Musical Extravaganza’ after dinner that night. Star guests and professional muscians have been approached but ‘Simon’ has asked that their names be withheld for security reasons.
Provisional Arrangements for Spring Break
Friday 24 April
Travel down South in your own time. A lunch stop in Cumbria or Yorkshire will be arranged once we know numbers. Lunch will be organised for approximately 1pm. After lunch, an optional scenic drive will be provided for you to make your way to the Fat Lamb in Ravenstonedale www.fatlamb.co.uk.
Friday evening will see us meeting in the bar and dining room at the pub.
Saturday 25 April
After breakfast, scenic drives and lunch stops will be arranged for those who want them. Final arrangements will depend on numbers. Suffice to say there is plenty of classic car driving in the area.
Saturday evening will host dinner in the dining room at the Fat Lamb including ‘An International Musical Extravaganza’. Professional musicians (and other less talented souls) are already lined up and rehearsing for their part in this unique event.
Sunday 26 April
Breakfast and depart.The price including dinner on both nights in our own private dining room, ‘International Musical Extravaganza’ on Saturday night, bed and breakfast will be £230 per couple in twin or double rooms. Single rooms are available at a price to be determined. Lunches on Friday and Saturday are not included. The ‘Fat Lamb’ will keep our initial allocation until the 12th Feb when we will need to talk with them about releasing any rooms not taken.
