Several Monklands members took part in the Heritage runs which supported the Paisley Abbey start of the 2015 Monte Carlo Historic Rally on 28 January 2015. Unfortunately the deteriorating weather caused some of the crews to “cut-and-run” rather than face the prospect of a cold night spent in a snowdrift. Period dress for the crews had been encouraged and Brian and Marion Hopkins won the award for the best dressed crew.
Apologies for the quality of some of the images – they are a bit crap but considering the weather and poor light it isn’t surprising. Well done to the photographers – when artistic is impossible, documentary is fine!
