Forrestburn lived up to its reputation today with a dismal morning, lunchtime and early afternoon of torrential driving rain and wind. Consequently, there was no new Hill Record or new Class Records. Surprisingly there were few technical hitches from or unplanned trips into the landscape by competitors, most will be back for more tomorrow when better weather is forecast.
Welcome and thank you to the significant members of our new team: James Stronach, Clerk of the Course and Philip Rowlands, the Secretary of the Meeting. Thanks also to all the marshals who endured very unpleasant conditions.
