We Won An Award!!

We’re very pleased to have won an award at the annual scottish motorsport awards 2026.

Below is a bit of blurb about the award;

”The future of motorsport depends on the opportunities we create for young people. This award celebrates those who support children and young people to get involved, whether as competitors, mechanics, marshals, trainee officials, or other volunteer roles. It recognises the people who help young talent gain confidence, skills, and a lifelong connection to motorsport.

Phew! This was a really tough one to call! Two Youth Voice Awards are being presented this year as the Awards Panel agreed both recipients clearly exemplified the values of this Award.

"In late 2024 this club started a program of Young Drivers Days. These are aimed at youngsters aged 11-16 to learn basic driving skills. During 2025 a number of these young drivers who are over 14 progressed to hillclimb track days. Several are planning on competing in Motorsport UK sprint and hillclimb events. While it is still early days , without this initiative from the club these youngsters may never have found motorsport. Additionally the club has opened up the Forrestburn Hillclimb track to the Junior 1000 Rally Championship who have now included the venue in their calendar, and allow juniors to test there too, recognising that basic seat time is as crucial as competing."“
