Just over twenty-four years ago MSCC held the inaugural hill climb event at Forrestburn on 3 July 1993. Brian Beverley set BTD on what was a very muddy and raw track which contractors had just finished. Today Brian again set BTD in what is now regarded, perhaps unfairly, as the typical Forrestburn weather. Congratulations Brian.
There were no new class records but lots of red flags, trips into the landscape and retirements. Eventful.
The results of the event are available to download here (aye and it isn’t even 18:00 hours). Thanks to all the marshals, officials and competitors who made this another enjoyable and banter intensive event. Let’s hope for better weather tomorrow.
