Cycling at Forrestburn – 13 August 2018

An event was held on Monday 13 August 2018 to investigate the possibility of using our hill climb track as a future cycling venue. Numerous clubs throughout Central Scotland were invited to send someone along to try out the track and give their impression via video commentary. Eight representatives attended, and some were key influencers in the cycling world.

This investigation was a great success and the MSCC Committee want to move to the next stage by organising a trial event. We consider the future activities of cycling clubs on our site to be complementary to what we currently offer in motorsport and it is in the correct strategic direction regarding the environment and development of the site. The facilities on our site for this activity are quite rudimentary so the idea is to look for future funding via Scottish Motor Sports (SMS) to help provide the necessary changing/shower facilities etc. These facilities would of course also be available for our motorsport activities. If you are interested in using the track for a future cycling event please contact:
